Lumpkin & Reeves recently settled the case of Kiley
Wilt, deceased. Kiley was a beautiful young coed at Ole Miss who was killed
when the driver of the vehicle in which she was riding was driving at
an excessive speed, lost control, causing a wreck which killed her. Investigation
indicated that the driver had numerous other speeding tickets and a subsequent
speeding ticket after the fact where he was cited for going over 110 mph
in a 55 mph zone. The case was settled for over $1.7 million, and will
go to assist Kiley’s family for the love and future support that
was counted on had her life not been taken.
