A Case Involving Nursing Home Abuse and a Criminal Cover-Up is Settled.
Lumpkin & Reeves has recently settled a tragic case involving nursing home abuse. In the case, an elderly woman was allowed to die without efforts to resuscitate her. The nursing home mistakenly understood that the woman=s family did not want her revived. After the woman died and the nursing home realized their mistake, they forged medical records and documents to conceal their error. Criminal charges were filed against nursing home employees who pled guilty. Lumpkin & Reeves filed a civil suit on behalf of the deceased woman=s family. The case was settled for a confidential amount. If you or a loved one have been injured in a nursing home or assisted care facility, contact us. We will insure that your rights are protected.
